Dual-layer rubber floor mat for applications into ESD Protected Areas. Meets IEC 61340-5-1: 2007, EN 100015, ESDA 2020 requirements. With a thicnkess of 2,5mm. the upper layer is static dissipative grey with scattered decorations and the bottom layer is black conductive.

APPLICATIONS The Dual-layer rubber floor has been designed for non-glued flooring applications, such as ESD protected workstations, runners, assembly areas, ATEX zones, front panel machinery etc. The upper layer is dissipative and the lower conductive layer provides a fast and safe path to ground for static charges from the top: it enables the static charges to travel through a less resistive material, thus facilitating a fast neutralization without interfering with other devices on the top (similar application as the ESD dual layer table mat). Moreover Dual-layer rubber floor ensures a safety protection to the operator who walks on a static dissipative (non conductive) surface. The grounding of the Dual-layer rubber floor requires either 1 MOhm safety ground cord connection or a conductive adhesive tape on the subfloor.
