The provision of a suitable floor base is the first step towards a correct containment and retention of dirt and contaminants in critical environments.

In the pictures here at right, a typical example of an old and inadequate industrial subfloor for containing and reducing contamination in critical production environments.

Customer’s action was to renew the subfloor with two different resins. A smoother and more mirrored in the three areas that would then have been covered by contamination control mats, and a second slightly more wrinkled one in the remaining area where electric forklift would have maneuvered, increasing stability and friction.

The final result, shown in the photograph here beside, more than offeeing a hgh view impact, is a very safe bottom for maneuvering in the whole area and, at the same time, includes three decontamination zones for both forklift’s wheels in entrance and exit and for safety operators' shoes
