In this case, the customer needed to create a decontamination area between the offices and the production departments and thus created a 2×5m changing area and a 1×2m passage for operators with the blue CZ decontaminating mat. In another passage, into an ATEX production area with trolleys and forklift, the WZ mat in dark gray color was opted for, which has a higher load resistance. The carpet has been positioned so that the forklift can pass over the carpet without excessive stress, straddling the corridor and the ATEX zone. The WZ mat (but also the CZ belt) are dissipative and therefore suitable for the transit of ATEX modified forklift, used by the customer, to avoid accumulation and generation of electrostatic charges.
