WZ e CZ MAT rivestimenti 493
GENERALE
WZ and CZ mats are subject to ageing due essentially to two simple factors: wear and tear caused by the passage of vehicles and operators and incorrect routine cleaning.
The efficiency, that is the retention capacity of the surface over the time, can be checked by performing the PCET test (Particle Collection Efficiency Test) which, by means of a digital dynamometer and a flat and smooth probe, verifies the "adhesive" power that the mat still expresses after a considered period of time (1-2-3 years on average).
By performing this test, the state of conservation of the mat itself is verified, which reveals what has happened to the mat and even better how the mat has been maintained and cared for over the time.
Without any claim to scientific value, but as a mere statistical data, the case studies revealed that the most influential factor for the adhesiveness of the surface of the WZ and CZ mats remains the ordinary maintenance (programming and mode of cleaning carried out), except for unintentional accidental events such as breakage or crawling, etc..
A correct cleaning together with a careful programming, as to say, lengthen the useful life of the mat itself.
On the right are two photos of the test values before cleaning (below the threshold) and after cleaning the mat surface (within good values) .
A bit like driving a car avoiding sudden braking and acceleration and keeping the tires at the right pressure: they will certainly last longer.
Therefore, maintenance and proper use of forklift above the mat are the best and at the same time simplest recipe for the use of washable decontamination mats.
