The customer needed to protect against contamination three different access from production areas directly to laboratory and infirmary zones. The issue in this case was related to the type of raised floor that requires leaving accesses for control and safety reasons for the utilities passing underneath. Unable to cover the entire affected area as the customer would have liked, they had to resort to a “zone” solution, leaving tiles free for necessary inspections. However, this solution emphasizes the quality (or lack thereof) of the flatness of the support structure for individual tiles. On the other hand, it facilitates regular cleaning operations, providing an homogeneous surface without the usual gaps where dirt and moisture tend to accumulate during washing.
