The contamination control mat WZ has been installed onto the access ramp to an E.P.A. area to prevent and reduce wheeled contamination as well as footborne contamination.

This way helps 100% retainig all particles and contaminants to enter the E.P.A. area where pick’n‘place and SMT assemply lines are installed.

It s very easy to see the clealiness effect obtained right after the end of the grey adhesive mat.

In the very first steps after the adhesive mat , on the left, it is installed an ESD tester: in this way shoe’s soles are cleaned with almost zero risk of intefering of dirt to the electric test.

Customer before the installation of the contamination control mat suffered of differences in tests due to dirty floor conditions especially during bad weather conditions outside where both wheeled and foot generated or transeferd particles, dirty and powders where brought right closer or inside the E.P.A. (white suspended floor) area.
