The washable decontaminating mat offers performance even in conditions of reduced maintenance and ordinary cleaning. We intervened on a WZ carpet installed for 7 years with the surface still practically intact, into a mechanical facility with fine power dust problems everywhere, but which has not had the necessary care and maintenance due over the time. Despite this, it was demonstrated to the customer, who was still satisfied with the service offered by the mat itself in the conditions we found, that with an adequate but simple ordinary cleaning, the mat, in just over half an hour, returned to a better life, offering again a greater retention.

Cleaning process

• Test in a corner with detergent, microfiber cloth and manual action.
• Sprayed the steamed detergent all over the carpet and left to run for about ten minutes.
• First pass with scrubber and dryer equipped with discs and without suction to soak the layer of dirt accumulated over time.
• Final washing with suction drying up all over.

The customer, satisfied with the improved result on such an old WZ decontamination mat, plans in any case to replace it over time given the service offered.
