Contamination control mat can be washed like a normal floor (in smooth self-levelling resin or PVC) using a scrubber-dryer equipped with soft pads (red). By washing it, the carpet’s adhesive characteristics are not lost; on the contrary, they are preserved over time. The action should be carried out with little water mixed with detergent, little pressure on the brush (when adjustable) and medium speed to give time for the disc and detergent to act on the dirt. In this way, daily (or end-of-shift) dirt can be removed, making the carpet immediately ready to hold dirt and contaminants.
