The PRF-922B miniature two-point probe accurately measures the point-to-point resistance of small areas. PRF-922B is capable of measurements up to 1.0×1012 ohms. Spacers inserted into the probe body provide an electrode consistent with sample pressure to develop repeatable measurements. Use the PRF-922B to measure small material samples, hard-to-assess molded areas, part edges, tray or tape cells, and other very small objects and surfaces. The assembly comes with replaceable conductive electrode covers to improve contact resistance on uneven surfaces and composition materials. Thus, measurements can be made with either gold plated electrode contacts, or through conductive rubber covers. PRF-922B is designed to be used with a precision wide-range resistance instrument, such as the Prostat PRS-801B Resistance System, or the PAS-853B wide-range ohmmeter, and an insulated test bench.
