A simple and effective solution to control contamination within a unique two way access to the production area is the contamination control Dycem mat. Covering an entrance and exit to a critical area the operator as well as trolleys are decontaminated 99.9% effectively once they step onto the mat. Due to the adaptable length and width available the mat offers protection in case goods are delivered through the wide folding door. An added positive of Dycem contamination control flooring is the overall thickness being only 2.1mm (including the non intrusive dimishing edging system). This offers both a seamless transition onto and off the Dycem and creates no obstacles when opening and closing doors within the area.
Regular maintenance is always advised, using a mop (to clean and agitate the surface of the Dycem) and squeegee (to remove the agitated contamination from the surface). Cleaning should always be accompanied with a suitable cleaning detergent (Recommended cleaning solutions are available upon request).
As shown in the video the installed area of Dycem recovers heavy dirt as well as very light weight powders that are present in the air, for example easy when opening the doors.
