Within a production area for compounds and powders, it was necessary to control the conveying of dust by means of the wheels and shoes of the operators passing from one department to another. Therefore, 3 sensitive zones were identified and one also within the microbiological laboratories. The zones are also easy to clean with scrubber-dryers by the operators themselves when saturated. As expected, the length of the operators’ carpet remains longer, 7 meters as opposed to 5 meters, again since the wheel always remains in contact while the steps are spaced out and it is necessary to do at least 3 per leg to ensure dirt removal from the sole.
