Customer’s need was to control and stop the “gross” contamination brought in by wheels in the direct access to production zones from areas outside of the building by both electric trucks and pedestrian traffic and waiting for the moment to renew the floor for contamination control mats to be installed. Told that, the solution was to go for Drystep mats in big and small dimensions to stop the gross contamination coming directly from outdoor environment. Drystep mat let easily to stop and control the dust and powder brought in by wheeled electric trucks that normally were coming into the production zones. More that this, Drystep mats were drying efficiently the wheels of electric trucks causing the most of the contamination during rainy and weathering days. At the pedestrian access, smaller contamination control mats were placed to enhance the contamination control for pedestrian access.
